Everyone will be accommodated on site from 22nd-25th August, so no need to book anything.
If you are looking to find somewhere to stay in Paris before or after our wedding, let us know and we can likely find someone who is happy to sublet their apartment for a few days.
We've also added a guide to our favourite things in Paris at the end of this page.
If you have any problems finding the venue, or need to get in contact on the day, you can use this WhatsApp group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/FIEUTabupnI2vbLiFZjumP

Silly-Tillard is about an hour's drive from Paris and about 2 hours from the Channel Tunnel.
There is plenty of parking on site.
Silly-Tillard is only 20 minutes away from Beauvais airport. From there, taxis are available to the venue.
From Charles de Gaulle airport, you will need to take the RER (a train) into the centre of Paris (Gare du Nord), and then take the train mentioned above to the venue. For taking the RER, the best way to do this is by downloading the app (more details in the Paris section below) and loading tickets on there - otherwise you end up paying for a physical card at the airport. You cannot load airport tickets on your card/the app while you have any unused metro tickets on there.
Taxis can be booked with Taxi Muller (+33 7 86 75 65 41). These need to be reserved in advance.

Please for the love of all that is good, do not hire a car in Paris. The metro and RER are there for you. The easiest way to use these is now using the app. You need to first download the "My Navigo Tickets" app, and then download the "Bonjour RATP" app. You use the second of these to buy tickets. Otherwise you can buy a physical "Navigo Easy" card to load tickets on. You cannot load airport tickets on your card/the app while you have any unused metro tickets on there.
Paris is also a great place to cycle and you can hire Velib bikes to get around.
It's not difficult to find good food in Paris. These are some of our favourites:
Sizin - Turkish restaurant. This is where we had our first date, though Simon will deny this.
Bouillon Chartier (Faubourg Montmartre) - Classic beautiful and historic brasserie with ok food
Felicita - they describe themselves as "sexy food court italien" (which should make you think you speak French) and they are pretty much right. It's in an old train station and it's the best.
Angelina, Rue de Rivoli - one of the touristy places we actually think is worth the hype. Cute tea rooms and amazing hot chocolate.
Michelin star restaurants (there are a billion, here are two of our favourites):
Restaurant H - we love this place (dinner 97e for 5 courses, though they sadly no longer do a cheap lunch menu)
Sourire - not a Michelin, but close (89e for their tasting menu )
Sitting by the Seine - get a bottle of wine, and go sit on the banks of the Seine. Pretty much every small supermarket will have a bottle opener at the checkout. There are also lots of little bars and restaurants on barges.
Tour Saint-Jacques - this is an underrated gem. Great tour. Great views over Paris.
Atelier de Lumieres - immersive art light thing (difficult to describe clearly). Not sure what their agenda for August is yet, but we've loved every time we've been.
Jazz clubs - Duc des Lombards, Sunset Sunside, New Morning .
Favourite museums (other than the main ones): Cluny and Guimet
